Raya took this time to go to the sideline and chat with his goalkeeper coach Inaki Cana and feels he deserves an assist for his heroics

"I was lucky to go the right way and I was lucky to save it," Raya said on TNT Sports.

"I was unlucky for the rebound to go straight to him but I was quick enough to get up and save the rebound.

"It's fantastic to keep a clean sheet and help the team to at least get a point.

"I took the decision to go to the sideline because it was a long wait to decide if it was a pen or not.

"I just spoke to the goalkeeper coach to get a sense of where to go and what to do and what not to do.

"He helped me ... credit to him as well for the save."

TNT Sports pundit Steve McManaman praised Arsenal's performance gaining a point in Bergamo.

Atalanta came closest to scoring when David Raya produced a double save to deny Mateo Retegui from the penalty spot and then the striker's rebound.

"Arsenal are too good not to go through in this format," McManaman said on TNT Sports' UCL Goals Show Xtra.

"I think it was a professional result in the end. Yes, they got the scare with the penalty and the good save, but they seemed to marshall the game to the end pretty well.

"It will be a point that they deserved and that they'll be very happy with."
