Rodri is regarded as a vital member of Manchester City's first team and manager Pep Guardiola rarely chooses to start a match without him. However, he may be forced to do just that in the coming weeks after the midfielder was injured against Arsenal at the Etihad on Sunday. A collision with Arsenal's Thomas Partey led to the Spaniard appearing to jar his knee and he was subbed off.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said he was not aware of the extent of Rodri's injury after he was subbed off in the 2-2 draw against Arsenal.
The City midfielder was substituted early in the first half, sparking concerns.
Rodri fell to the floor in the opening seconds of the game at the Etihad after he appeared to have a coming together with Kai Havertz, but television replays could show little detail about what occurred.
The Spaniard - widely regarded as one of the finest players of the last year as City have dominated English football and his country won the European Championship this summer - was able to continue, and Erling Haaland then gave his side the lead on nine minutes.
The goal was the Norwegian’s 100th for Manchester City.
Minutes later, City were defending a corner and Rodri was battling for space with Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, and as the two collided, the 28-year-old seemed to jar his right leg.
He immediately clutched his leg and looked distressed as a result of the injury, and was taken off several minutes later by Guardiola.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the draw, Guardiola was unable to give any information, saying: "I don't know how he is. I did not speak with the doctors."
Rodri is one of a number of players who have expressed concerns over the amount of football that they are being asked to play by their clubs, countries, and football’s various governing bodies.
He was replaced by former Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic, moments before Arsenal levelled through new signing Riccardo Calafiori.
City battled back in the second half and John Stones scored late to secure a 2-2 draw.
