Noussair Mazraoui is keen on sharing more success with Erik ten Hag at Manchester United following their glittering spell at Ajax together between 2017 and 2022. “I’ve already won good prizes, made some history before with him so we have to do that again," Mazraoui told TNT Sports ahead of United's UEFA Europa League opener on Wednesday. "I know we’re going to do that again."

Noussair Mazraoui wants to make more history with Erik ten Hag after he reunited with his former boss at Manchester United this season.
United begin their UEFA Europa League campaign when they host another one of Ten Hag’s former clubs, FC Twente, on Wednesday - live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
Mazraoui and Ten Hag claimed three Eredivisie titles and two domestic cups together during their time at Ajax from 2017 to 2022.
Mazraoui’s performances earned him a move to German giants Bayern Munich, while Ten Hag became the permanent successor to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
One Bundesliga title and a German Super Cup later, Mazraoui put pen to paper on a four-year deal at Old Trafford and wants to replicate the success he and Ten Hag enjoyed at Ajax.
“The coach is here now for his third season. You always follow each other because I worked with him for four years, so you’re always interested in each other,” the Man Utd defender told TNT Sports.
“Not just in him, all the players and coaches I’ve been with. You have a connection already and a relationship. It’s really cool again to work with each other, in a new club, a new environment, a new country. [It’s] a new challenge.
“I’ve already won good prizes, made some history before with him, so we have to do that again. I know we’re going to do that again.
“The trust with each other is really high, really important. I will give my all for him, but not just him, for the whole club and everybody in it.”
Mazraoui revealed that playing for “big clubs” such as Ajax and Bayern and playing in “big games” helped him settle into life in Manchester, where he has impressed in his first six games for the club.
“It helped [to be able] to deliver when the pressure is high,” he added. “In this moment, the pressure is really high [for me].
“Just two training [sessions] and you have to play for your new team, your new club, the fans.
“You have to deliver a good performance because that’s something that sticks in the head for a long time because it’s the first impression and you get that shot just one time.
“All those factors helped me to perform how I did. When you start off well it makes the second, third and fourth games easier. I hope from here I can improve more.”

The United full-back has joined Mustapha Hadji, Youssef Mustapha Chippo and Adel Taarabt in the small group of Moroccan players who have played in the Premier League.
Mazraoui said it is the “ultimate goal” to become as influential to the people of North Africa as the aforementioned trio of Moroccan “legends” have been.
“The ultimate ambition is to be named in this group of players, which are great players and have had a big influence here and are still legends of the game,” he told TNT Sports.
“If I can be one of those names it would be amazing for me after my career.”
